Two-vehicle Collision Leaves Five Injured, One Transported By EHS LifeFlight

Five people were injured in a late evening collision in Middlewood on Saturday.

At 5 PM, Bridgewater District RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 103 and Camperdown School Road.

Police say a car was travelling eastbound on the highway when another vehicle crossed the yellow line into their lane. The two occupants of the first car and the three of the other car all sustained injuries.

An EHS Lifeflight helicopter was landed on a section of highway 103 between Italy Cross Road and Llewellyn Road/Hirtle Road to transport one passenger, while the other four were transported by EHS to the hospital.

The current status of those involved is unknown, and an investigation is ongoing.
