National tackle football events are making a return following a two-year hiatus due to COVID.
The U16 Eastern Challenge is underway at Alumni Field in Sackville, N.B.
Teams from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec will compete for the title.
Quebec will look to defend the title from the last tournament held in 2019 after beating Ontario.
New Brunswick will face Quebec at 4 p.m. Thursday, followed by Nova Scotia and Ontario at 7 p.m.
The bronze and gold medal games are scheduled to take place on Sunday.
