RCMP say the public is not at risk as the search continues for 52-year-old Darren Trevor Jackson.
An emergency alert was issued Sunday night after an alleged shooting in Brookfield but cancelled yesterday morning.
Late yesterday afternoon, police located the pickup truck driven by Jackson in Truro and seized it.
It’s unknown if Jackson is on foot or travelling in a different vehicle.
He is described as white, 5’10, about 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Jackson should be considered to be armed.
If you see him, do not approach him and call 9-1-1.
