Is your ex still bumming Netflix off of you? Or maybe you’ve been sneaking into their account!
If so, you may want to look into getting your own. Netflix Canada is cracking down on Account sharing.
How will it work? If your account is chosen for the pilot program, a pop-up will appear on your Netflix screen. You will have to select your profile and you’ll be asked to verify the account through a text or email sent to the owner of the account. (aka: if it’s not yours…no watching…)
So far it’s only being used on accounts people are watching on TV, not on your phone.
Easy peasy…if it’s actually your account.
