There’s a new scam where the unknown scumbags pretend to be Nova Scotia Power – It’s a phishing scam through SMS text message, asking customers to stay away from downed wires and to click a link.
This is not from Nova Scotia Power because they do not use text messaging to communicate with their customers. Please don’t click on the link and stay safe!
Lately I’ve seen a huge increase in phishing scams trying to get me to click links. I’ve seen it from my bank, as well as several banks I have no business with, Canada post delivery, Amazon delivery, and FedEx delivery notices.
Which ones almost got you to click on a link?
