With a heat wave happening and it looking like another hot and humid summer over all, I’m guessing you have some plans to hit up a local beach sometime soon.
Just a heads up, if you see one of these little guys, stay away. It’s a Portuguese Man O’War.
It looks like a jellyfish, but the creature is a a siphonophore. Last summer it was found at beaches including Rissers, Lawrencetown, Queensland, and Martinique.
Here’s what you should do if you run into one:
