Weekend Storm Will Bring Snow, Then Rain To N.S.

A bit more is known about this weekend’s winter storm.

Environment Canada is continuing its Special Weather Statement for all of Nova Scotia.

They say snow and blowing snow will develop Saturday morning, before changing to rain in the afternoon.

There could be a prolonged period of freezing rain for Western and Northern Nova Scotia.

High winds could create storm surge conditions along the Atlantic coast Saturday into Sunday.

The forecaster says rain will change back to flurries on Sunday.
