WestJet’s seasonal flights between Eastern Canada and Europe return

WestJet’s transatlantic flights between Eastern Canada and Europe have resumed.

The Calgary-based company’s seasonal service kicked off Friday with a flight between Toronto and Dublin.

As WestJet previously announced, Halifax will be among three Canadian cities with key European destinations.

The airline will offer multiple weekly fights between YHZ and London, Edinburgh and Dublin from late April through October.

This summer also marks WestJet’s tenth anniversary of its entry into Europe.

The company’s inaugural transatlantic flight was between St. John’s and Dublin in 2014.
