Years ago, there was no question, the Christmas tree was cut and entered your home for the holidays. But the debate that is becoming more and more common with constant conversation around climate crisis…. Is Artificial better?
The argument that by cutting a living tree you are removing a natural air filter is often combated by the fact that a plastic tree will take hundreds of years to disappear once it is thrown in the landfill.
I am open to conversation, but I have always thought a growing healthy tree that cleans the air and then quickly turns back into fertilizer to grow more vegetation is the way to go.
