Connecting Across the Ages (6:00–7:30 p.m.)
This meaningful community gathering brings generations together for guided conversation, written reflection, and story-sharing. Hosted by Second Story Women’s Centre, it’s designed to build connection and strengthen community bonds.
📍 Lunenburg

Caregiver Support Group (6:30–8:00 p.m.)
Held monthly at Roseway Hospital, this support group offers a safe and welcoming space for people in caregiving roles to share experiences and find encouragement. Registration is required.

Risks of Uranium – Public Meeting (7:00–9:00 p.m.)
An important public information meeting discussing uranium-related risks and community concerns. Ideal for residents interested in environmental and health topics.

April 10

JOCE REYOME & Band — LIVE at the Osprey Arts Centre(7:30–10:00 p.m.)
Straight out of PEI, Joce Reyome delivers powerhouse vocals inspired by Etta James, Janis Joplin, and Tracy Chapman. This high‑energy performance takes place at the Osprey Arts Centre, making it a must‑see show for live‑music fans.

South Shore Expo
One of the biggest spring events on the calendar, the South Shore Expo showcases home and lifestyle exhibits, outdoor equipment, local businesses, and activities for all ages.

  • Ben Holmes has lived on the South Shore of Nova Scotia for most of his life and has a deep passion for the culture and community of Nova Scotia and the Maritimes. He believes strongly in the importance of radio and other local media, and the role they play in keeping communities informed, connected, and entertained.
    He is the host of “Breakfast With Ben” on CKBW in Bridgewater. When he is not talking, at least not into a microphone, Ben enjoys spending time outdoors, cycling, watching films, taking road trips, and being around family and friends.
