When I went to school in the city one of my favorite pastimes was thrift shopping! It is increasable the things you can find at thrift stores! It goes back to the old saying “One person’s junk is another person’s treasure!” You wouldn’t believe some of the stuff I have found at second hand stores. Mostly some really cool and like new clothes, records and some really great audio equipment for quite cheap!
It seems like it the last few years “Thrifting” or thrift shopping has become more mainstream and popular. I think it used to be a place for people to get a good, cheap deal but now, with more environmental awareness and a bigger interest in older items it seems to be quite the trend! I just love the thought that all these items already have quite the history! They’ve been enjoyed, worn or used by someone else in another time or life! It’s very interesting! I’ve heard stories about people finding designer clothing or books full of money or valuables at thrift stores. I’ve never had anything that extraordinary but it is possible!
