What’s Your Favorite Lighthouse In Nova Scotia?

Last Summer I went for a hike on a remote island in Shelburne County! Like many islands in Nova Scotia this one had an old beautiful lighthouse! We are lucky to have so many! There is something about a lighthouse that just kind of makes people happy I think! I know they make me happy! When I was doing the Summer cruiser job I had the fabulous opportunity to visit many lighthouses throughout the three counties and I decided to make a top 5 list of my favorite light houses!

#5 -Point Prim Lighthouse-Digby

#4- Gilbert Cove Lighthouse- Digby

#3- Sandy Point Lighthouse- Shelburne

#2- Cape Roseway Lighthouse- Shelburne

#1- Cape Forchu Light Station- Yarmouth

Those are my favorites! What are yours? Check out a whole bunch of Nova Scotia Lighthouses and the history behind them here! www.nslps.com, What is your favorite lighthouse in Nova Scotia? Let me know!
