Where did you grow up and what is your home town or village known for? Perhaps a famous person or historical event? A certain large business or industry?
Or perhaps an iconic tourist spot? A famous restaurant?
I grew up in Dartmouth the City of Lakes (23 of them!) so we paddled canoes in the summer and skated on the lakes in the winter. Had fish and chips at John’s lunch in Woodside. Our street signs were too small to read (I think to confuse the odd person from Halifax) but the thing we were most famous for was the home of Woody the Talking Christmas tree – Mic Mac Mall.
