Wife Wants Handyman Husband Back

A listener wrote in with this dilemma looking for your advice:

I have an older sister who never married and was working a professional job in Toronto but moved back in her retirement to the South Shore. She’s only two kilometres away from us and lives in an older house that occasionally has things that break. If something needs repair she calls us and I get to handle the simple things while my husband handles the more complicated things. Like the snowblower she picked up second hand. It wouldn’t start and she called us all upset and my husband spent half his day off trying to fix it. He wasn’t successful and suggested she call a repair shop. She had a leaky pipe under her bathroom that my husband spent a weekend fixing. She had a drip from an exhaust pipe seal on her roof that he has fixed.

It’s like he’s become her husband. I want him back. How can I tell her that I feel we’re being taken advantage of? She has the money to professionally get all these jobs done and doesn’t need my husband or I to fix things.
