As I am seeing suggested plans for reopening provinces and getting on with life post CoVid-19, I feel it is a cross between a “choose your own adventure” book and a sci-fi movie. The thing that I find interesting is that some of the future things proposed, look a lot like the past. Like the Valley Drive-In is preparing to be the new hot spot when they are able to figure out a plan that meets health guidelines… and what about grocery stores coming to your home? I remember the Apple Man and the Fish Truck always came to sell at our house, well in Toronto they are looking at bringing the whole store:

Now if we look at the world after this pandemic is over, what will you be comfortable with?
Even if the 2 metre (6′) apart rule is relaxed, will you be comfortable hugging, or is that something that will be only ever done with extreme caution?

And what about traditions? Blowing out the candles on your cake as friends and family sing “Happy Birthday” is as common as getting older, but will that ever happen again?
Certainly lots to think about in the future, but for now, let’s continue to do what we need to do for things to become normal, whatever that “Normal” looks like.
