A 46-year-old woman is dead after a motorcycle crash on Highway 2 in Stewiacke.
RCMP say it happened Wednesday night around 9:30 p.m. between Main Street and George Street.
The motorcycle left the road and crashed into a ditch.
The Salmon River woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 61-year-old man from Shubenacadie East, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
