1 dead, 1 critical after crash in Shubenacadie

One man is dead and one man is in life-threatening condition after a crash in Shubenacadie.

RCMP say it was Sunday around 10 a.m. when two vehicles collided in the 2500 block of Highway 2 while one was driving south and the other was turning left onto Densmore Road.

A man, 47, from Manitoba was announced dead at the scene, while a man, 33, from Dartmouth was airlifted to hospital.

Two passengers, a man and woman, 37 and 23 from Enfield were hurt and taken to hospital.

Highway 2 was closed for several hours. The investigation is ongoing.
