12 new cases, one school based

The province now has a total of 120 active COVID-19 infections.

The Department of Health and Wellness announced 12 new cases today.

Officials are reporting two cases in the Northern Zone, and ten cases, including one school based case at Citadel High School in Halifax, in the Central Zone.

They say 2,047 tests were processed by Nova Scotia Health Authority labs Wednesday, and rapid-testing pop-up sites in Halifax and Wolfville conducted 486 tests, none of which lead to a referral for a standard test.
