Throughout Lunenburg and Queens Counties, hundreds of children are in need of mentors, people to look up to on a daily basis.
Well now, many of those kids will be able to get the mentorship they need thanks to the generosity of the community.
More than 250 golfers and other supporters gathered at Osprey Ridge Golf Course in Bridgewater July 19th, raising over $20,000 dollars at the 17th Annual Golf For Kids’ Sake, supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the South Shore.
All proceeds will go toward their youth mentoring programs.
