Town-wide Road Work Projects To Begin Wednesday in Bridgewater

Commuters may see an increase in delays tomorrow as pavement work begins throughout Bridgewater.

The town’s Pavement Management Improvement projects will start tomorrow, which will see roadwork and improvements be made to 15 town roads.

The project is expected to take around three weeks to complete, with each street taking from a few hours to a few days to finish, weather depending.

In a release, the town says work hours will generally be between 6:30 am to 8 pm, and traffic delays should be expected.

The town encourages anyone with special needs who may be impacted by the work to contact the project manager Sandi Larkin at Sandi.Larkin@bridgewater.ca.

Streets being affected are as follows:

  • Aberdeen Road (LaHave St. to Elm St.)
  • Brook Street (Jubilee Rd. to Smith Ave.)
  • Churchill Street (Dufferin St. to Summit St.)
  • High Street (Victoria Rd. to Empire St.)
  • Jubilee Road (King St. to Brook St.)
  • King Street (Town Line to Jubilee Rd.)
  • Maple Street (Prince St. and Scotia St.)
  • Miller Drive (Brady St. to Kydd St.)
  • North Street (Aberdeen Rd. to Haven Dr.)
  • Park Street (Intersection of Scotia St.)
  • Pearl Street (Near Civic #59)
  • Pine Street (King St. to Brook St.)
  • Prince Street (Near Civic #130)
  • Starr Street (King St. to York St.)
  • Victoria Road (King St. to Pleasant St.)
  • Victoria Road (Pearl St. to Town Line)
