Happy International Beaver Day

Today the world celebrates the largest rodent found in North America, it’s Beaver Day!
Having grown up by the Lahave River, it was not uncommon to see the chewed trees and “beaver works” around the riverbank. I remember back in elementary school I did a project on beavers, even had chewed sticks on display, haha. As an adult I have had to be concerned as beavers built a dam that caused our driveway to be under water by times.
I know it is debatable, but the officials do say that beavers are important for the environment, even if it can be inconvenient for us.
