A new permanent resident of Canada has been appointed a crown attorney in Lunenburg County.
The public prosecution service announced Nina Johnsen will represent them in Bridgewater.
Johnsen is from New Jersey and graduated from the University of New Brunswick law school in 2013.
She moved to Nova Scotia and worked at a number of law firms in Berwick, Halifax and Dartmouth before being appointed to Bridgewater.
Johnsen has specific concentration in criminal law.
