Bridgewater Police Dog Helps Find Alleged Car Thief

Bridgewater’s police dog has started earning his keep.

Davis and his handler Constable Morgan Gibson were called in to help track a suspect who allegedly stole a car.

Nineteen-year-old Joshua Bruhm was seen on Wednesday on foot near the Eastside Plaza on Lahave Street but he ran into some nearby woods.

Davis was able to track Bruhm, who was found hiding under someone’s deck.

He was arrested and charged with, among other things, possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

This is the first time the police dog has completed a track and arrest since he entered the force in June.
