A special election for the South Shore Regional School Board is moving ahead.
Nominees Michael Stewart and Iris Charlton had until 4 p.m. Wednesday to withdraw their names.
Returning Officer Ted Bulley confirms they are the two candidates vying for the position of District 3 board member, which covers the Town of Bridgewater.
The special election will be held February 11.
The only option for voting will be electronically.
Eligible voters will receive their pin code by mail within the next few weeks.
Advance polls were previously announced as Thursday, February 2 and Tuesday, February 7.
A computer will also be available for voting on election day at the DesBrisay Museum.
