More Snow For The South Shore

Shubenacadie Sam may think spring will come early, but winter’s not ready to give up yet.

Up to 40 mm of rain fell in some areas, plus another snow and ice pellets overnight.

Meteorologist Ian Hubbard says another storm is headed our way for Monday.

“It’s far enough south, that only the cold air will be reaching the province,” he says. “The last couple storms have been a lot closer or on top of the province, so that’s allowed the warm air to come in to give rain or some mixed precipitation.”

Hubbard says the system should have time to dump a fair bit of snow in the region.

But, he says it’s too soon to know how much.
