A risk of inconsistent dosing in Advil liquid products for children and infants has led to their recall.
The concern is that higher or lower concentrations of the drug ibuprofen may result, if bottles aren’t shaken well before each use.
Health Canada says affected products include Advil Pediatric Drops, Children’s Advil Cold, Children’s Advil Fever from Colds or Flu, Children’s Advil, and Advil Pediatric Drops Fever from Colds or Flu.
