A study looking at the feasibility of tolling along Nova Scotia’s major highways is on schedule to be released in April.
CBCL Limited is determining if tolls should be constructed at eight sections of the 100-series highways.
It includes a 71 kilometre section of Highway 103 from Exit 5 in Tantallon to Exit 12 in Bridgewater.
Transportation Minister Geoff MacLellan says he’s waiting on further information before holding public meetings.
“I’ve got to have that specific information on what the tolling options look like first. Once the financial information is available, that’s when we will truly hit the road and be up front and in communities.”
MacLellan expects consultations will be held in 16 communities later this spring.
