Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a statement in regards to the death of a police officer in Quebec.
Twenty-six year old Thierry Leroux was shot and killed in the line of duty while attending a domestic dispute call in Lac Simon – about five hours (drive) north of Montreal.
The shooter, a 22 year old, then turned the gun on himself and took his own life.
Leroux was from Amos, Quebec.

Leroux’s funeral arraignments have not been finalized.
