Talking to your kids about the ‘birds and the bees’ is never easy.
Julie Veinot, Director of the Sexual Health Clinic in Bridgewater will be coming to the library to give some tips.
She says the conversation about sexuality should start sooner than you may think.
“The reality is it’s not just one talk,” she says, “it’s, sort of, and ongoing conversation you have with your kids, and it can start as early as babies.”
Veinot says the first step is to teach children about their bodies using the real names for each part.
A date for the talk will be announced in the next few weeks.
