While many people await an announcement for a ferry in Yarmouth, it appears public confidence is dwindling.
Seventy percent of our CKBW/Country 100.7 poll respondents feel there won’t be a ferry route this year to Portland, Maine.
PC MLA for Argyle-Barrington, Chris d’Entremont, says he doesn’t blame people for feeling that way.
“This government has been very closed with the information. The general public has no idea what’s going on and, of course, is asking what’s going on in the whole deal with Bay Ferries.”
d’Entremont says having a ferry in place and ready to provide the service on June 1 is unrealistic.
Our new poll asks: How would classify this winter?
