Energize Bridgewater Looking For Efficiency Ideas

It’s Dragon’s Den with a focus on energy.

The Town of Bridgewater and Bluenose Coastal Action Group have teamed up to invest in local energy projects.

Sustainability Planner Leon de Vreede says individuals and business owners will have the opportunity to pitch ideas to a panel of experts.

“Everyone will have about three minutes to do a short presentation on their project,” he says, “Why do they think it should be included…why do they think the community should learn about the project? and why is it interesting?”

de Vreede says the winners could receive money or services in-kind to help them get the project off the ground.

Anyone who has an idea has until the end of day Friday to send in a submission.
