The Region of Queens is adding another meeting to their list.
The municipality has approved a motion to establish a monthly committee of the whole meeting.
Mayor David Dagley says it will give councillors time to debate or discuss initiatives.
“And, eliminate some of the discussion that’s normally held at council meetings on issues that come forward. I’m looking forward to it and I think our councillors are looking forward to it.”
The municipality currently holds council meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month.
A committee of the whole meeting would be scheduled for the third Tuesday.
Dagley says the first COW meeting could be held in February.
