A preliminary hearing will be held Friday for a Lunenburg man accused of stabbing another man on December 27.
Thomas Alvin Selig faces a number of charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault.
The 57 year-old has been remanded into custody since the late December incident where a 49 year-old Lunenburg man was seriously injured.
Police say the victim later recovered and was released from hospital.
A preliminary hearing at the Bridgewater Justice Centre will determine if there is enough evidence to proceed to trial.
Selig has also been charged with breaching an undertaking and breaching probation.
