Rain On The Way

If you were thinking of washing the salt off your car, Mother Nature is ready to lend a hand.

Up to 50 mm of rain is expected in Yarmouth, Shelburne, and Queens Counties.

Lunenburg won’t be quite as bad with 25 mm in the forecast.

Tracey Talbot, Meteorologist with Environment Canada, says just because this storm is bringing rain doesn’t mean winter is over.

“We can expect to get mixed precipitation systems moving through well into April,” she says. “So, never say ‘never.’”

Talbot says showers will become heavy rain tomorrow afternoon.

The system should wrap up Thursday evening.
