Forest Heights Using ‘Chase the Ace’ Fundraiser For Major Upgrades

A school in Chester Grant is hoping a card game will help them replace some much needed equipment.

Forest Heights Community School has been holding a ‘Chase the Ace’ draw for several months.

Funds being raised will help replace bleachers and basketball standards and create a fitness centre.

Athletic Director, Devan Naugler, says it made sense to get the community involved.

“The school needs those things to be upgraded and since it is a community school, we decided to make it a community event.”

Naugler notes the bleachers and basketball standards haven’t been changed since the school was built 26 years ago.

The jackpot is over $2,800 with 30 cards left including the ace of spades.

The next draw is happening Thursday from 6:30-8pm at the school.
