Nova Scotia Curling Teams Start Strong At Canadian Under-18 Championships

A strong start for Nova Scotia at the Canadian Under-18 Girls Curling Championship in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

The team, featuring Chester’s Taylour Stevens, defeated Ontario 8-6 in their opening game and followed that up with an 11-2 victory over Yukon.

The team is back on the ice tonight versus Northern Ontario and Prince Edward Island.

On the boys side, the Bluenosers, featuring Scott Weagle of Chester, also got off to a fast start.

They beat PEI 12-3 and a second team from Alberta 8-3.

They play the other Alberta team and New Brunswick tonight.
