Businesses in Chester will be recognized again this year.
The municipality is organizing the ‘Best of Chester’ awards for the fourth year.
Last year, a total of 238 businesses were nominated for awards.
Warden Allen Webber feels businesses don’t get the recognition they deserve.
“We simply want to let them know that the people in the Municipality of Chester do support them, do care,” says Webber.
“We want to recognize the contributions they make to our communities.”
The nomination period will open April 1 until April 29 before voting occurs from May 3 to 26.
Winners will be announced by municipal council May 30.
