Cadbury Creme Eggs Recipes And Facts As They Celebrate 50 Years!

Spring is here and Easter is upon us. Decorations appeared in our windows over the weekend and the stores have been is full bunny mode since February. The biggest thing I have noticed is that an Easter staple seems to be getting smaller every year. The last couple years they have had easy to open tabs instead of the tinfoil wrapping and I thought it was just me, but the creme eggs have shrunk.

Creme eggs are celebrating quite the milestone this year as they turn 50 years old. Over the years they have been included in hot drinks and ice cream treats. To celebrate the half century mark creme eggs are now being brewed. The only sad part is that for now we can only dream of enjoying, unless you have a friend across the pond willing to send it to you.

I like the idea of using the egg shell as a beverage container (aka shot glass). That could work with many beverages for an Easter treat.
