Shelburne: Movie Theatre Experience Coming To Osprey Arts Centre

Lights. Camera. Action. A movie theatre will soon open in Shelburne.

‘At the Movies’ is an initiative started by Rob and Marta Stork, who also organize the Shelburne Film Expo.

Movies will be shown at the Osprey, with profits going towards the centre.

Rob Stork says the couple love movies and wanted to provide a theatre to residents.

“We thought if we could put together a series of films and make them nearly first-run films, recently released films, that it would be something people might respond to.”

Two movies will be shown a month on a Saturday evening at 7:30 and Sunday afternoon at 2.

The first ones are ‘The Revenant’ on April 2 and ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ on April 3.

Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students on Saturdays. All tickets are $4 on Sundays.
