Important Win For the South Shore Lumberjacks

It’s a brand new series. The South Shore Lumberjacks scored four unanswered goals in a 4-1 win over the visiting Truro Bearcats last night.

That evens the best of seven first round series at two games apiece.

Brandon Syms scored a pair for the Jacks while Brian Reardon and Alex Rawding added singles.

The Lumberjacks out-shot the Cats 38-18.

Game five goes tomorrow night in Truro before the clubs return to Bridgewater on Monday.

In other MHL playoff action the Valley Wildcats staved off elimination with 6-2 win in Pictou County.

The Crushers still lead 3-1.

Summerside also stayed alive by outscoring Campbellton 6-4.

The Tigers still hold a 3-2 series edge.
