RAFUSE, David Vincent – Age 79, of Pleasantville, Lunenburg Co., died on April 23, 2026, in the Q.E. II Hospital – Infirmary Site, Halifax, with his family by his side. Born, March 12, 1947, in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Vincent Reginald and Joyce Adele (Conrad) Rafuse.
David was a member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church, Bridgewater. During his working career he was an industrial accountant; he was a former owner and operator of three Canadian Tire Stores – Kingston, Wallaceburg and Port Hope, Ontario. David had many professional accomplishments within his career. He served as coordinator for Citizens on Patrol program.
Surviving is his wife, Grace Margaret (Johnston) Rafuse; brother, Eugene (Janet) Rafuse, Jacksons Point, ON; nephews, Brian Rafuse, Kyle Rafuse and Gregory Johnston.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Celebration of Life and Faith will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in Bridgwater Baptist Church, Bridgewater, with Rev. Dr. Aaron Kenny officiating. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Care Centre, Toronto or Bridgewater Baptist Church.
