Students and teachers wore pink clothing today to help mark awareness for Stand Up Against Bullying Day. The second Thursday in September has been recognized since 2007. Minister Karen Casey says bullying is always a concern whether its online or offline. She encourages people to support each other to prevent bullying from happening in the classroom and communities. Students are encouraged to report bullying if they witness it or are involved in it. Eighty-one people have used the online reporting form since it was developed last November.
