ZWICKER, Perry James – Age 68, Pine Grove, Lunenburg County, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lester and Yvonne (Beck) Zwicker; father-in-law, George Jodrey and step father-in-law, Gary Tucker.
Perry is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Jodrey) Zwicker; son, Ryan Zwicker (Chelse) and grandchildren, Chase, Bella, Evan and Piper; daughter, Michelle Laird (Ian) and granddaughter, Thea; mother-in-law, Maxine Jodrey; brothers, Tommy (Carol); Jackie (Jocelyn); sisters-in-law, Margaret and Glenda; and many nieces and nephews.
Perry lived life with a kind heart. He enjoyed life alongside his wife, Donna. He was most proud of the family they built, and he loved them more than words could describe. They had many adventures together. Morning drives with Donna and his sweet dog Molly made great starts to his day. Driving around on his Buggie and spending time with family and friends in his garage by the lake, were among his favorite things to do. He made the most of life often spending days and nights boating on the lake. Lake road number 6 will never be the same.
Throughout his years involved with the Trucking industry he made lifelong friendships. He often reminisced and told countless stories of days gone by about driving trucks and his adventures with all the people he encountered on those journeys. His mechanical knowledge and ability were extraordinary; there was rarely a problem he couldn’t diagnose and fix. He took pride in working with his hands and sharing what he knew with those around him.
Through a lifetime of experience, when it came to gardening, he had an exceptional talent for growing. With a creative mind, his inventions were one of kind. Every job needs a Supervisor and he was best.
Perry could be the life of any gathering, often leaving memories with stories to make you smile for years and years to come. He was so loved and will be missed so very much. The miles may have come to an end, but the stories, lessons, laughter, and memories never will.
Words to live by according to Perry:
