Bridgewater: Dominion Street Upgrades To Last Into The Fall

An aging water main will be upgraded on Dominion Street in Bridgewater.

Dexter Construction will begin phase two work of the project this week.

There will also be pavement improvements and a new sidewalk constructed.

Project Manager Larry Hood says it could take up to 16 weeks to finish.

“Based on our experience as well as previous phases, I’d say we hold pretty close to that. It will put the ending around the end of October or first of November.”

A section of Dominion Street will be closed from Forest Hill Drive to Churchill Street.

There will be detours on surrounding streets.

The cost is $831,461.50.
