A group in Bridgewater are trying to help young artists turn their hobby into a business.
Youth Art Connection has just launched an online toolkit.
Co-founder Ryan Veltmeyer says it works like a online course.
“Each component has a mini video lecture made by hip hop artists, video game designers, people in their teens and 20s who make money making art in Nova Scotia”
Veltmeyer says the province is chalk full of young talent.
He says by helping them make a career doing what they love, he hopes to keep more of them here instead of moving away to look for work.
Veltmeyer is running a walk-through of the toolkit at Art Happening in Bridgewater this Tuesday.
