The division final between the South Shore Lumberjacks and Pictou County begins tonight in New Glasgow.
The ‘Jacks are coming off a thrilling seven game series win over Truro while the Crushers defeated Valley in six games.
Pictou won five of six contests against the Lumberjacks during the regular season.
Head Coach and GM, Brad Muise, says he feels they match up well against Pictou.
“We can skate with any hockey club there is no doubt we’re a good, fast-skating team, we’ve got size but we need to impose ourself physically. I expect a tight-checking game, we have to play that style in order to be successful.”
The two teams are meeting in the post-season for the first time since 2013, when the Crushers swept the Lumberjacks in the now-defunct division mini-series.
Game time is 7 p.m. tonight.
