Lumberjacks Owner Pleased With Fan Support Through Playoffs

The owner of the South Shore Junior ‘A’ Lumberjacks is thanking fans for their support this season.

The Lumberjacks were eliminated from the playoffs last night after a 9-0 loss in game five to Pictou.

However, it was a historic season for the ‘Jacks, who reached the division final for the first time in franchise history.

Larry Creaser says it was great to see so many people fill the Clearwater Seafoods Arena during the playoffs.

“The building is electric. It just feels like hockey is alive in the town.”

The club is selling tickets at a reduced rate for next season until the end of April.
