The Queens County Midget “A” Cougars hockey team are provincial champions.
The Cougars defeated the Pictou Maripacs 6-2 at the Hockey Nova Scotia Day of Champions.
Sean Deighton was named game MVP after scoring three goals for the Cougars.
Jack Dunlop found the net twice with Tyler Lawson scored one.
The winning goaltender was Parker Rowter.
