The emergency department at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital in Lunenburg will be closed today for eight hours.
The closure is in effect from 7:30 a.m until 3:30 p.m and is due to a staff shortage.
People should dial 911 if there is an emergency.
They can also call 811 or visit the South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater.
