A 40-year-old Halifax woman is facing drug charges after policed conducted a traffic stop on Highway 103 in Shelburne on December 15.
Following an investigation by Yarmouth and Clare’s Street Crime Enforcement Unit, Danielle Therese Goodwin was stopped.
A search of her vehicle led to the seizure of cocaine, pills believed to be methamphetamine, cash, packaging material, and a stun gun.
Goodwin was also believed to be impaired by a drug at the time of her arrest and was taken to hospital to be checked out.
She appeared in Yarmouth Provincial Court later that day and is facing trafficking, weapons, impaired driving, and drug charges.
